Only this house is a training ground for young royalty. And she has to survive its trials to even leave the place. Each world is stranger than the last, and each lesson is hard-won. Soren's story starts with Jack, an abusive teacher that communicates in dream. When a priest asks for help removing a demon in his church, Soren takes the opportunity to step out from under the shadow's shadow to make a name for himself. Only one demon turns into four, and they requested his presence in the first place. ReligioUrban Fantasy with elements of horror.

David and His Shade

For as long as he's been alive, young David has been haunted by a darkness he calls Cold Man. When David has an opportunity to attend a feeder camp for a prestigious magic high school, he hopes to get help to remove it. Instead he endangers everyone around him: new friends, faculty, and even the school grounds itself. Harry Potter meets The Magicians in this alt-reality modern fantasy.

The Crow Flu: a pandemic that wiped out the world. The Green Burn: the American government's untested response to it. Quixotic and aging Susursal pursues information on how, and why, civilization ended. Pragmatic and young Mael keeps him grounded and sane. Both gravitate around a retired warlord, Marlin, who has the answers. Post-apocalyptic speculative fiction: less The Road, more Joyce's interpretation of The Last Man.

i, pawn dreamer

Haley wakes from a coma able to see people's sins and driven to find a CEO who dreams in the ultrareal. The ruthless Okembe does not want to be found, and sends his best to stop her. The resulting war leaves bodies in its wake, and the survivors pursuing a path toward enlightenment. Lovecraftian superhero fantasy; violence never looked more unsettling.

White boy Shane decides to walk the dusty roads in self-induced exile. Like the greats. He's never finished a thing in his life. He's a starving artist. You know. He needs to find himself. Enter Kaysha, the motorcycle-riding, gun-toting, whiskey-drinking, devil-may-care badass who couldn't give a shit about anyone. He's gotta get his shit together if he's gonna shoot straight. And maybe, just maybe, he'll find something to fight for beyond the top score of Mortal Kombat. A Literary Coming-of-Age in the Age of Trump, with a cast of mostly imagined characters on an open road.

He plans a return to humanity, but before he can, he must share everything with Isla. Everything. Noir Dr. FrankenGatsby of Monte Cristo, a Teslapunk story.

Nautilus

Losing her power-hungry parents to a political blunder means Artema has no family, no country, and nowhere to call home. She stows away on a blockade ship at war with her people, only to find her nightmares are hunting her: some to help, some to hurt. Will the clever captain convince enough of her people to help train Artema to fight, or will they be added to her enemies? High Fantasy at its best--swashbuckling, army-fighting, and a pantheon of creatures that go burp in the night.

Michael and the Magician

In a megacity of nearly 30 million souls, the rich control the police, the police control the general population, and the general population hate the Drownyard. The vigilante pacifist Magician works without a billionaire backing him--the only one in the city--while Michael Tarsem is a billionaire that refuses to get his hands dirty. When a serial killer from the Drownyard starts killing alt-right politicos, the police are quick to pin the murders on Magician and Tarsem, and it's up to them to find the real killer... and bring the corrupt police to justice.
